  • Creation of Donor Materials- Donors want to see what their gifts allowed you to accomplish -- specific facts and stories of how they changed the lives of real people. This is how they will know their money was put to the best use in your programs and services.
  • Recognition & Follow-up Systems- Recognizing your donors is the most influential way of retaining the commitment of your contributors for the future. Show your key contributors their importance to your organization by acknowledging them by name in a way that will leave a legacy.
  • Evaluation- which is challenging and limited in terms of branding and building awareness but easily executed for motivating action (giving, advocating, volunteering, requesting more information) is just as crucial as getting your campaigns out there.

Public Relations

  • Public Relation Campaigns- Organizations undertake public relations campaign out of the conviction that they are the best-kept secrets in their field. When a campaign does achieve greater visibility for an organization, the results can have a positive impact on the bottom line. To create an effective PR plan, you must be very clear about who it is you are trying to reach.

Creative

  • Logos- Logo design is arguably one of the most important and valued areas of design. A quality logo design combined with the branding of an organization or company can become one of the most powerful forces in today’s society. I like to believe there’s a perfect concept out there for every project, but the hard part is finding it - or at least something close to it. The only way to do this is to brainstorm like crazy.
  • Brochures- you only get one chance to make a favorable impression with your brochure design. An effective design that communicates to your prospects isn't about spending your entire ad budget on design and development. It requires the use of good brochure design and brochure writing principles.
  • Annual Reports- The annual report is the single most important publication an organization produces. Annual reports are an important tool in making investment decisions about organizations. And,annual reports should contain additional information facing the organization and its industry, such as sustainability of the environment or organizational governance, and not just the company’s financial and shareholder issues.
  • Newsletters - E-Newsletters - Blogs- The internet is a different communications environment and requires a different writing style. People do not read long documents online, they scan to find something relevant or interesting to them. Keep it short and scannable; Keep content substance/news oriented - not self-promotional; Link to your web site; Grab readers attention with great subject lines and good looking content; Keep content timely and relevant; Send the E-Newsletter only when you have something to say; Make it easy to subscribe and unsubscribe; Provide an E-Newsletter archive on your website. Blogs take time, effort and they can make you vulnerable as you give a part of yourself but the return for your organization is a change in perception, two-way marketing and organic marketing.
  • Promotional Literature- is all printed matter used in the marketing, advertising and promotion of an organization and vision is there from concept, design, text and distribution.
  • Advertising- Attracting attention to your organization by paid announcements in the print, broadcast, or electronic media. It is hard to find anyone or any culture unaffected by advertising. Advertising knows no boundaries and helps to reach out to everyone. Effective advertising gives you the opportunity to promote your organization in the best possible way. And with new medias and technologies, it makes it even more useful. We can help with copy writing, visualizing, photography, illustrations, web design, art direction, all of these combined together give you a wholesome package called advertising.
  • Website- When it comes to your organization's online presence, the bottom line is websites and other online marketing tools continue to be the most cost-effective way to get out your message and increase the credibility of your organization. A good website can also actually increase the capacity of your organization. Plan your site the same way you plan programs and services. Treat your site like a program of your organization, setting priorities and making decisions just like you do in other facets of your organizational development.
  • Direct Mail Pieces- There are quite a range of opinions among professional fundraisers on the value of direct mail. Some see it as a waste of time and money, others see it as the best way to grow your donor base. Most think it has a place in your fundraising plan for the following reasons; It can help you identify new donors; It can be used for public relations; It increases your visibility; Helps you identify potential volunteers; Helps to publicize new programs. If done right, can be the source of consistent income. Some advocate using direct mail as a cost effective way to renew your current donors, for special appeals and for capital campaigns. Others believe it is best used for soliciting new donors or prospecting. This can be expensive. It usually takes about 2 to 3 years to break even.
  • Collateral & Marketing Materials- The Devil's in the Details: From Inspiration to Implementation. Before you go through a re-branding process, most nonprofits' collateral materials resemble a messy closet: brochures and letterhead are poorly designed and uneven in their production values and/or use of imagery and typography; Web sites tend to be a hodgepodge of content and sensibilities. Even if one or two of the pieces are okay, the overall impression conveyed is one of confusion and disorganization. Absent a consistent voice, it's almost impossible to identify a unifying message. I firmly believe that good design does not have to be expensive, and that the best brand identity is almost always a clear and simple one, regardless of the resources available. It all hinges on solid research and getting a good designer on board.
